What I like

On Halloween Mrs. Rowe's class got cob webs and ghost all over the school. We did a hard test about the earth and her whole class did great on it. We do fun stuff like word searches and we play silent ball at the end of the day. That is all the fun things in Mrs. Rowe's class.

Halloween Time

Halloween is right around the corner the class is full of buzz.  People are telling about what they are going to wear and what they are doing for Halloween.   The classroom is like a Halloween house.   It  has spiders webs and ghosts galore.  Most everyone  is in the Halloween spirit.  I hope you are having as much fun as I am.     Happy Halloween  -Molly.

Blog Use

I feel that blogging is a great way to communicate and keep information flowing outside of the classroom.  My plans on using this blog for the classroom will be to keep parents in the loop and for them to have an insight as to what we are going to do or what we have done.  Each week a student will be given the job of "blogger".  It will be up to them to decide what they want to add to our classroom blog.  I will have the students write their blog in their writing journal and then have another student edit it.  Before blogging, I will check it to see that what they are writing is correct and appropriate to be added.  This will help to give the students some ownership of the blog as well.
